The apartment is very quiet although it has a very central position (ten minutes to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas, ten minutes to Paseo de Gracia and Gaudi's houses, one minute to the covered Ninot food market, ten minutes to the neighbourhood of Gracia..) as it is situated away from the street.

It is used by the owner when in the city and therefore very homely. There are bookshelves full of books,. There are Persian carpets and other accessories that you will not find in a standard rental apartment. It has got air conditioning, heating, TV, video, DVD, stereo and CD player.

Immediately outside the apartment are many little family-owned shops like a bakery, delicatessen, butcher, greengrocer, fishmonger, nail studio, etc. Nearby is a big food market and there are also many supermarkets in the vicinity.

The neighbourhood has got a wonderful village feeling to it; you will be living where the real Barcelonians live. Close by are some cool restaurants (and a great tapas-bar) where you will find mostly local people and where prices are still reasonable.
